Emma Broadbent is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in program, project, and design management, specializing in water infrastructure and mining projects. Currently, Emma serves as the Director of Engineering, Environment and Engagement for the Upper South Creek Networks Program with Sydney Water. Emma has managed complex, multidisciplinary engineering challenges, delivering effective solutions on projects such as the Central Interceptor and the $5.3 billion underground expansion of the Oyu Tolgoi Copper and Gold Mine. Emma began their career at Anglian Water in the UK, overseeing a $120 million upgrade program for sludge treatment plants before joining Jacobs in New Zealand. Emma holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol.
