Geoff Hood

Geoff Hood is a Chartered Scientist and the Director of Land Quality for the UK/Europe, with over 20 years of experience in contamination and environmental management. They have held various roles, including positions at Invicta, Hyder Consulting, and Jacobs, where they specialized in geo-environmental consultancy and management for large-scale infrastructure projects. Geoff has worked across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, contributing to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects and initiatives like site characterization for Nuclear Waste Services. They are committed to innovation in the industry and have a strong focus on health, safety, and wellbeing, having served as Regional Chair of BeyondZero. Geoff holds a BSc in Environmental Earth Science from the University of Reading.
