Imalka Matarage

Imalka Matarage, PhD, PE, RSP1, possesses extensive experience in civil and transportation engineering. Notable positions include Traffic Engineer at Jacobs since January 2020 and Project Development Engineer at Walkers CML Group, where Imalka conducted Traffic Impact Assessments for low-cost apartment projects in Colombo and managed project development approvals. Previous internships occurred at Nagaoka University of Technology, Hokkaido University, and International Construction Consortium (Pvt) Ltd. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, a Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology, among other qualifications in transportation and highway engineering.
