Jeff Schmidt has extensive experience in the engineering field, particularly in water resources and conveyance projects. Schmidt began as a Graduate Research Assistant at the US Army Corps of Engineers from June 1995 to June 1997, followed by a role as Project Engineer at AECOM from July 1997 to December 1998. From January 1999 to February 2016, Schmidt served as Principal Project Manager at MWH Global, focusing on wastewater conveyance projects. Subsequent positions at Jacobs included Water Resources and Conveyance Group Lead in the Bellevue Office, where leadership of over 65 staff members was provided, as well as roles in water practice management, project management, and design management until early 2021. Schmidt holds a Master's degree in Environmental Hydrology and Hydraulics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University.
