Jesse Macias is an experienced facility and test engineer specializing in cryogenic systems, currently serving as the lead Cryogenics Engineer for Chamber A and B at the Space Environment Simulation Lab at Jacobs since January 2022. Prior roles include Integration Test Lead for the xEMU Portable Life Support Subsystem, where Jesse successfully coordinated design verification testing activities, and Subsea Wellhead Package Engineer at OneSubsea, overseeing the design and acceptance testing of subsea wellheads. Jesse's engineering career began with United Space Alliance and spans multiple companies, with significant accomplishments in project leadership and system design, including the extension of Space Shuttle pressure vessel life by over 14 years. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
