Joanna Gray is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in flood risk management and hydropower projects. Beginning as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Halcrow from June 2001 to January 2006, Joanna progressed to Senior Civil Engineer, managing projects with consultant fees up to £750k, including the River Hull Flood Risk Management Strategy. Following a role as Senior Associate Director at Jacobs, where Joanna led projects for the UKHSA National Biosurveillance Network and tidal range hydropower initiatives, Joanna became Divisional Director, overseeing complex flood risk management schemes. Currently, Joanna serves as a Board Member for the British Hydropower Association, advocating for tidal range hydropower development. Joanna holds a Master of Engineering from Loughborough University and an MSc in Business and Strategic Leadership from Cranfield University.
