Joe Shoffner is an experienced Urban Planner and GIS Analyst with a background in transportation planning. At Jacobs Engineering since January 2008, Mr. Shoffner serves as Technical Team Lead for the Pinellas County Alternatives Analysis project, collaborating with various government agencies. Prior to this role, Mr. Shoffner interned at PlaceMatters, focusing on GIS analysis for a mixed-use development in Chula Vista, and gained practical experience as a Planning Intern with the City of Louisville. Earlier career experience includes working as a GIS Technician III at P2 Energy Solutions, where responsibilities included GIS data maintenance and map creation. Mr. Shoffner holds a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from The University of Kansas.
