John Steele is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in bridge design and management. Currently serving as the Global Technical Leader and Executive Bridge Engineer at Jacobs since December 2013, John has contributed to significant projects such as the Darlington Upgrade and Flinders Link Adelaide. Previously, as the Bridge Regional Solutions Leader for Asia Pacific & Middle East at Sinclair Knight Merz, notable projects included the Nambucca Heads to Urunga Pacific Highway Upgrade and various railway alliances. Earlier roles at Connell Wagner and Hughes Truman Ludlow involved senior engineering positions on major infrastructure projects including the Cross City Tunnel and Christchurch Cathedral Refurbishment. John holds a Masters of Engineering Science and a Bachelor of Engineering, both from UNSW.
