John Whitney

John Whitney is a certified construction manager and electrical safety compliance professional with a diverse background in electrical construction management and inspection. They served as a Special Forces Radio Operator in the US Army from 1969 to 1972, and later owned Whitney Electric from 1982 to 2011. Currently, John is a construction manager at John Whitney Construction Manager and an electrical construction manager at Jacobs, where they focus on quality assurance and inspection. They have been actively involved with the International Association of Electrical Inspectors since 1989, serving as past president of the Ben Franklin Chapter and remain a current board member. John holds certifications for various electrical inspections and has completed their education at Lower Merion Electrical Technical School, where they earned a certificate in electrical construction.
