Jonathan Dempsey

Jonathan Dempsey is a Senior Associate Director of Heritage at Jacobs, where they provide archaeological and cultural heritage advice for large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, power generation, flood alleviation, and rail projects. They previously served as Divisional Director of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, managing complex archaeological investigations and assessing cultural heritage impacts for diverse projects. With experience that includes roles as Excavations Director and Senior Archaeologist, Jonathan holds an MA (Hons) in Archaeology from The University of Edinburgh and has been a member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists since 2006. They have held excavation licenses in Ireland since 1999, contributing significantly to the field through various assessments and investigations.
