Kris Powell

Kris Powell is a Senior Archaeologist with over 25 years of experience in archaeological investigations. They have been the principal investigator for more than 175 projects across the southwestern United States and have managed numerous small to large-scale projects, often exceeding millions of dollars in budget. Previously, they worked as a Cultural Resources Program Manager at the Arizona Department of Transportation and served in various roles including Compliance Specialist at the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office. Kris holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma. Currently, they are employed with Jacobs as a Senior Archaeologist.
