Mark Jernigan

Mark Jernigan, PE, PMP, is a Senior Construction Engineering Manager at Jacobs, where they lead efforts in rebuilding and protecting coastal regions in southeastern Louisiana. With an extensive background in program and project management, Mark has held significant roles, including Deputy District Engineer and Director of Public Works for the City of New Orleans. They have demonstrated expertise in emergency management, construction management, and personnel development, overseeing major projects during natural disasters and in high-stress environments. Mark earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University and an MS in Environmental Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
