Matt Alvarez

Matt Alvarez, P.E., is the President and Chief Operating Officer at CES Consultants, where they lead business strategies and growth plans across the firm's various geographies. With 25 years of infrastructure delivery experience, Matt has managed projects totaling over $7 billion in Florida and South Florida, including significant programs for the Miami-Dade County Water & Sewer Department and the City of Miami Beach. They earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Matt also held leadership roles in professional organizations, including a past Chair of the Florida Section American Water Works Association, enhancing their expertise in regulatory and water quality challenges.
