Matt King

Matt King is a transitioning Naval Officer with 25 years of experience in Acquisition, Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, and Project Management. After enlisting in the Navy as a Hull Maintenance Technician, they advanced through a commissioned officer program, earning a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Florida and later a Master's degree from the University of Florida. Matt has held positions including Staff Civil Engineer at US Fleet Forces Command and Facilities, Engineering, and Acquisition Division Director at NAVFAC SW, where they led teams in managing multi-million dollar construction projects. Currently, they serve as a Senior Project Engineer at Jacobs, continuing to utilize their extensive leadership and project management skills.
