Matthew Kirkpatrick

Matthew Kirkpatrick is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in architecture and infrastructure. Currently serving as the Architect/Facilities Lead at Jacobs since November 2022, Matthew previously held the position of Principal at Design for Occupancy, Architecture LLC, where responsibilities included leading architectural projects for small to medium scale residential and commercial buildings since April 2012. Prior roles include Architect at MWA Architects, Inc., Project Architect at Deca Architecture Inc., and Project Architect at SolTerra Architecture, Inc., focusing on mixed use and multi-family projects in the Portland and Seattle areas. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Manager and Associate Designer at Fosler Portland Architecture, where Matthew contributed to construction documents for various projects, and as an Architectural Intern at Bob Schatz Architecture. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University, earned in 2002.
