Michael Hwang is a Senior Technologist and the Drinking Water & Reuse Treatment Group Lead at Jacobs, where they oversee a team of engineers working on water treatment projects. With over 18 years of experience, Michael specializes in the design and optimization of water treatment facilities, including the application of both conventional and membrane separation processes. Michael began their career as a Research Assistant at the USC Center for Sustainable Cities in 2003, and they have held various roles at CH2M and Jacobs, contributing to numerous significant water and wastewater treatment projects. Michael holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively.
