Michael Redfern is a Chartered Civil Engineer with extensive experience in reinforced concrete and steelwork design, structural assessment, and tunnel design. Currently employed at Jacobs since December 2017, Michael specializes in structural modeling, site surveys, and preparation of design documentation. Previously, Michael worked at Halcrow (2004 - Present) and CH2M HILL (2004 - Present), focusing on underground structures, with additional experience as a Field Engineer at Crossrail Ltd (2011 - 2012). Michael began the career as a Vacation Student at Atkins in 2001, contributing to a feasibility study for the Manchester Metrolink tram network. Michael holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham (2000 - 2004) and attended Hall Cross School in Doncaster (1995 - 2000).
