Mike Watson

Mike Watson is currently a Principal Consultant at Jacobs, a position held since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Water Quality Scientist and then a Hydraulic Analyst and Water Quality Modeller at NWG from 2014 to 2016. Their earlier experience includes serving as an Engineer and Graduate Engineer at RPS Group from 2009 to 2013. Mike has also held various leadership roles within the CIWEM Tyne and Humber branch from 2018 to 2020, including Secretary, Chair, and Vice Chair. They earned an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University in 2008 and a BSc (Hons) in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of York in 2007.
