Muhammad Umar

Muhammad Umar, PEng, is a seasoned structural engineering professional with extensive experience in managing architectural and structural teams, currently serving as the Structural Group Lead for Jacobs in Canada. With a tenure starting in May 2022, Muhammad oversees a diverse team of sixteen, focusing on team culture, performance management, and resource optimization. Prior roles include Senior Structural Engineer and project lead at Fluor Corporation, where Muhammad delivered significant projects in high seismic areas and managed complex engineering tasks. With a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Muhammad has successfully contributed to various high-profile engineering projects across the energy and infrastructure sectors throughout Canada and the United States.
