Peter Simpson

Peter Simpson is an Associate Director of Arboriculture at Jacobs, a position they have held since 2022. They previously worked as a Woodland Officer for the Forestry Commission and served as a Principal Arboricultural Consultant at Ecus Ltd from 2017 to 2021. Peter's earlier roles include Tree Officer at Nottingham City Council and Field Team Member at the Environment Agency, where they focused on tree inspection and arboricultural management. They began their career with a National Trust Careership as a Countryside Warden, earning an Apprenticeship Diploma in Environmental Conservation. Peter holds a Higher National Diploma in Forestry from the National School of Forestry, Newton Rigg.
