Rinu Shemi has extensive experience in engineering and project management, beginning with a role as Site Engineer at Silpi Construction Contractors from November 1993 to February 1995. Following this, Rinu progressed to Project Engineer at Pillars & Beams (Mather Group) and then served as Senior Structural Engineer at Qatar Design Consortium from October 2003 to December 2005. Rinu later took on the position of Senior Design Engineer at Halcrow, a CH2M HILL Company, from June 2006 to December 2008, focusing on structural design and client liaison for various facilities. Rinu then joined Ansal Buildwell Ltd as Operations Lead and Project Engineer, managing residential development projects from May 1996 to April 2003. Currently, Rinu is a Project Manager at Jacobs since January 2011, overseeing significant projects such as the Abu Dhabi Coastal and Marine Development Plan and the Dammam 3 and Al Kharj Industrial Cities. Rinu holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur, and an Executive Program in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
