Ruby Simmons is a Principal GIS Consultant and currently serves as the GIS Information Manager for the National Highways flagship Lower Thames Crossing programme. Previously, Ruby held several roles at Jacobs from 2021 to 2025, including Principal Geospatial Consultant and Senior GIS Specialist. Ruby began their career as a GIS Technician at Chemostrat from 2013 to 2015, followed by a role as a GIS Design Technician at CH2M from 2015 to 2017. Ruby earned a BSc (Hons) in Geographical Information Systems from Bath Spa University, following A Levels in Geography, Law, and English Language and Literature at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College.
