Stephen Lapthorn

Stephen Lapthorn is the Head of Project Management (Transportation) at Jacobs, where they oversee key projects in the field. They previously held roles as a Senior Project Manager and Technical Director at Jacobs, and served as a Design Coordinator for the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road during their tenure at Hochtief. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Engineer and Engineer at Jacobs, contributing to significant projects such as the £87m East Kent Access Project. Stephen became a Chartered Member of The Institution of Civil Engineers in 2009 and holds an MEng in Civil Engineering with Architecture from The University of Sheffield, which they completed in 2003.
