Stewart Knowles is a Chartered Professional with extensive experience in global transportation project delivery. Currently, Stewart leads the Transformation team for the Smart Motorway Programme (SMP) Alliance, specializing in transformational change. They have previously held senior roles at Jacobs Engineering, MWH, and Mouchel, advancing through positions from Road Safety Engineer to Global Engineering Senior Director. Stewart holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management and Planning from Loughborough University and a Master of Science in Business and Strategic Leadership from Cranfield University, where they graduated with distinction. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation, Stewart actively contributes to the institute's Inclusion and Diversity panel.
