Syd Daneshyar

Syd Daneshyar, PEng, MEng, CCP, is currently a Senior Program Controls Manager at Jacobs, bringing a strong technical background with over 25 years of experience in EPCM planning, cost estimating, and risk analysis primarily in Hydro, Infrastructure, and Mining projects. Previously, they served as a Project Controls Manager at SNC-Lavalin and led planning efforts at Hatch, overseeing project controls for complex projects from feasibility to implementation. Syd holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering and Management from Concordia University. Their career began as a Civil Field Engineer at Tablieh Construction Company, where they managed project controls for large-scale dam and hydro-electrical power plant projects.
