Thomas Dutton

Thomas Dutton is a Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the flood defense and water supply sector, currently employed at Jacobs since September 2013. Initially starting as a Graduate Civil Engineer, Thomas developed expertise in reservoir design, flood defense schemes, and project management for multiple statutory reservoirs. Key responsibilities include detailed reservoir design, highway drainage design, and conducting hydraulic assessments. Additionally, Thomas completed a secondment with South East Water, where inspection and supervision of reservoir works were primary duties. Thomas holds a Master's degree (MEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Plymouth, obtained in 2013.
