Daniel Fifield

Daniel Fifield has worked in the software engineering industry since 1988. Daniel began their career at Astronautics Corporation of America as a Support/Validation Engineer. In 1990, they became a Consultant at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where they worked on a paging billing system, equipment supply software, and refinery turnaround software. In 1991, they were a Project Lead at JRA (Formerly known as Red Prairie and before that McHugh Software), where they were responsible for the design and implementation of a custom warehouse management system, as well as managing and directing approximately 10 junior and senior programmers. In 1995, they founded JADE International, Inc. as a web design and Internet Access company. Since 2015, they have been employed at Barracuda Networks Inc., where they have held the positions of Manager Software Engineering and Senior Software Engineer.

Daniel Fifield completed their MBA in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management between 1992 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained an MS CS&E in Computer Science and Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering between 1984 and 1988.
