Jain Energy has developed a biofuel cell technology that promotes a neutral-carbon-based circular economy and reduces the dependency on fossil fuels for electricity generation. The proposed biofuel cell technology generates streams of high-value products, including precursors for carbon fiber manufacturing and medical-grade cosmetic antioxidants, while generating electricity. This technology is ideal for developing a resilient power industry while addressing carbon dioxide emissions that adversely affect climate change. The entire process is novel and transformative compared to existing industrial infrastructure worldwide.
