Lauren Beard has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Lauren started their career as a Freelance Writer for SwimNews Magazine in 2005, where they contributed articles until 2012. In 2007, they began working as a Freelance Writer and Corporate Communications Specialist, providing effective communications solutions to businesses in the GTA. During the same year, they also served as a Marketing and Events Intern at the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD), where they planned and executed the 33rd Annual Wells Fargo Cup and implemented marketing campaigns. In 2009, Lauren joined JAM Direct Inc. as the Vice President of Client Services. Here, they held a leadership role responsible for overseeing client services. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Editor for Frontiers Magazine at the University of Wyoming, where they wrote and edited articles in AP Style and earned a promotion to assistant editor after one issue.
