Jeff Jilot

Jeff Jilot is currently the VP of Product Operations at Jama Software. Prior to this, they were the Director of Business Operations and Chief of Staff for McAfee. Jeff was responsible for executing the operating model for the 370-person McAfee Endpoint Security team and creating and monitoring the annual budget across the global team.

Jeff was able to reduce the yearly budget from $38M to $25M by analyzing teams, processes, and procedures that were expensive or inefficient and implementing changes. Jeff also transformed the operating model, providing transparency into project and program status. The new model was adopted globally across the entire 1800-person Engineering R&D organization.

In addition, Jeff implemented an Engineering Excellence Scorecard to baseline and track individual team progress toward engineering best practices. Over three years, the overall program scores increased from 36% to 66%. Jeff also led quarterly Leadership & Development offsite meetings, created annual goals and team development plans, and tracked and reported progress to Executive Leadership.

Jeff has also successfully aligned global Endpoint Security team scrum/agile and development/delivery models, which has allowed for streamlining and coordination of development processes across all teams. Jeff has also managed overall hiring plans and designed overall organizational structures for all McAfee Security engineering global sites.

Jeff Jilot attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Networking. Jeff also attended Green Bay Preble.
