Rick Tjia

Rick Tjia, a versatile artist born in Columbia, Missouri and raised in Gainesville, Florida, began their dance journey at age 8, training in tap and later mastering ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. With an extensive career that includes notable performances with Ballet Austin, Boston Ballet, and Cirque du Soleil, Rick has also contributed as a talent scout and choreographer, particularly for the Cirque du Soleil from 2004 to 2020. Currently, they are the CEO of Choreography Online and the VP of Casting at JamarGig, while also actively teaching and choreographing worldwide. Rick holds an Associate of Arts in Physics from the University of Florida and a certificate in Digital Marketing from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
