Wandera Kweyu, Assoc. CIPD, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. From 2021 to present, Wandera serves as the Head of People and Culture at Jambojet, where they have implemented various initiatives to align the people function with the airline's strategy. Prior to this, they founded "Conversations With Wandy" in 2020, a platform aimed at sharing knowledge and tools related to people and culture. In the same year, Wandera worked as a Consultant for Tetra Tech Europe, driving the people and culture agenda across Africa. Wandera has also held leadership positions in the media industry, serving as the Head of Human Resources and Administration for a company from 2018 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Wandera worked in HR management roles for organizations such as CABI, Médecins Sans Frontières (Switzerland), and Achelis Kenya Limited. Wandera has also worked as a management consultant and research consultant in the field of labor laws and human rights. Throughout their career, Wandera has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the people and culture function within organizations.

Wandera Kweyu, Assoc. CIPD, holds a Bachelor's degree in Laws from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, completed in 2009. In 2021, Wandera obtained a Level 5 diploma in Human Resources Management from CIPD Qualifications. Wandera also completed the Certified Professional Coach program from Coach Transformation Academy in 2022. Currently, Wandera is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Coaching Mentoring and Leadership from York St. John University, expected to be completed in 2023. Wandera has various additional certifications, including being an Associate Member of THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PERSONNEL AND DEVELOPMENT and a Full Member of the Institute Of Human Resource Management.
