James Bentley Treatment Program provides mental health services and clinical counseling with ongoing training and supervision by licensed and experienced professional counselors. 

Based in Portsmouth, Virginia, the James Bentley Treatment Program is licensed in the State of Virginia. It offers mental health skill building, intensive in-home, crisis stabilization, and intensive outpatient across various cities, including Norfolk, Hampton, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.

Since its inception in 2002, the James Bentley Treatment Program has served Virginia communities by providing the finest patient care and education. As a family-orientated organization, we focus on developing great relationships with clients, maintaining open communication, and exceeding all clients' needs. 

We offer diverse programs for adults with mental illness, emotional disturbance and individuals who struggle with independence and activities of daily living. Our staff helps create a specialized treatment plan with goals specific to the client's needs, emphasis on managing psychiatric symptoms, and establishing consistent medication management.
