Founded in 2010, James Maciver Costumes has become internationally recognised for bespoke costume design and build. We partner with production companies worldwide to deliver full costume solutions—from budgeting and concept development through to fittings, rehearsals and opening night.

Our Buckinghamshire studio is home to a 30‑strong team of specialists in costume making, textiles, sculpting, sewing machinery and model‑making. Alongside our in‑house team, we collaborate with a trusted network of freelance fitters and installation specialists across the world, ensuring seamless on‑site delivery for productions of every scale.

Our work spans musical theatre, pantomime, television and cruise entertainment, with clients including La Voix and productions at iconic venues such as the London Palladium. Founder James Maciver brings over 15 years of industry experience, with credits including Strictly Come Dancing – The Professionals, Hairspray and Disney’s High School Musical UK tour.
