James Oliver Gallery (JOG), which opened its doors in late 2006, aims to be a leader in the presentation of contemporary art in the Greater Philadelphia region. An appealing and lively forum in Philadelphia's Center City, the gallery looks to shatter rigid notions of artistic presentation. Featuring exciting modernist furniture and beautiful views through 19th century fourth floor windows, JOG creates an environment where patrons are encouraged to convene, socialize, and discuss current topics in art. In addition JOG's dynamic "JOG Presents" programming, and lively lecture series help create a local forum for participation, education and awareness in the arts.
