Marek Mazur

Marek Mazur has an extensive work experience in the field of software development. Marek started their career at Yansat in 2006 as a PHP Developer. Then, they worked at E-kierowca from 2007 to 2009 as a PHP Developer and Graphic Designer. In 2010, they joined Red Sky sp. z o.o. as a Senior PHP/Python/Ruby/JS Developer until 2018. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Shinybox as a PHP/JS Developer. In 2014, they joined Shorte.st as a Fullstack Developer and stayed until 2017. In 2017, they joined JamesEdition as a Senior Backend Engineer and later became a Product Backend Team Lead. Alongside their work at JamesEdition, they also worked at Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder from 2018 to 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer. So far, their most recent role is as a Product Backend Team Lead at JamesEdition since November 2022.

Marek Mazur obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, completing their education from 2001 to 2005. Marek then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, graduating in 2007. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2019, Marek received certifications in Agile Project Management from Product Vision and Technical Leadership from BNS IT. In 2014, they gained expertise in Domain Driven Design from Bottega IT Minds, Agile Project Management from APMG International, and Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org. Furthermore, they were certified as a Zend Certified PHP Engineer by Zend Technologies in 2014. Marek also holds a PRINCE2 Foundation certification from APMG International since 2011 and an AdWords Seminar Leaders certification (advanced level) from Performance Media, which they acquired in 2010.
