Michael Covington

Michael Covington, Ph.D., serves as the Vice President of Portfolio Strategy at Jamf since January 2022, bringing extensive experience in product management and strategy. Previously, Covington held the position of Vice President of Product and Strategy at Wandera, where the focus was on adapting to the evolving landscape of remote workforce and data storage. Earlier roles include Director of Product Management at Juniper Networks, where significant advancements in security services were achieved, as well as Senior Product Manager at Cisco Systems, enhancing threat intelligence capabilities. Covington also founded a limited liability company and served as a Senior Research Scientist and Security Architect at Intel Corporation, where innovative technologies for next-generation networks were developed. With a solid educational background, including a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, Covington possesses a comprehensive understanding of information security and systems research.
