Kent Heggie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kent has worked as the Director of Partnerships & Corporate Events at JAM since 2017. Prior to that, they held the same role at JAM starting from February 2017. Before joining JAM, Kent worked as the Director of Business Development for Mazu (JBFSports) from November 2016 to January 2017. Kent was responsible for managing partnerships with major global sports franchises and assisting brands in activating their sponsorships. Kent also worked as a Marketing Manager at PokerStars from December 2012 to July 2016, where they executed global brand strategies and managed advertising, negotiations, and sponsorships. Kent served as an Account Director at CCMC from February 2011 to December 2012, developing marketing partnerships and creating unique brand experiences for the Canadian Hockey League. Kent's career in partnerships began at the Canadian Football League, where they worked as a Manager of Partnerships from July 2007 to November 2010, negotiating and managing partnerships with various organizations. Prior to that, they worked at the Montreal Alouettes as a Senior Account Executive from August 2001 to July 2007, growing the client asset portfolio and managing sponsorships. Kent's first job was as a Marketing Coordinator at Cimmetry Systems, where they managed logistics for global tradeshows and handled marketing communications. Overall, Kent has a strong background in partnership development, corporate events, business development, marketing, and brand strategy.

Kent Heggie attended Laurentian Regional High School from 1986 to 1991. After completing high school, they enrolled at CEGEP - John Abbott College from 1991 to 1993. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Kent then continued their education at Concordia University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Marketing.
