JAMS
Jerome Abrams is an experienced mediator, arbitrator, special master, and neutral evaluator at JAMS since March 2022. With a robust legal background, Abrams served as a judge in the Minnesota District Court from January 2008 to January 2022. Additionally, Abrams has held roles as a mentor at the University of St. Thomas since 2010 and as an adjunct associate professor of law at both William Mitchell College of Law and the University of Minnesota, teaching courses in Advocacy and Complex Litigation, respectively. Prior to these positions, Abrams co-founded and co-owned Abrams & Smith, P.A. and Austin & Abrams, P.A., and worked as an associate at Austin & Roth & Associates. Abrams holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from William Mitchell College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in American Studies from Beloit College, where Abrams was recognized as a Porter Scholar.
