Lisa Jaye is a highly experienced mediator, arbitrator, hearing officer, and special master with a comprehensive background in alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Currently at JAMS since April 2018, Lisa has successfully initiated and led global settlement negotiations in various federal civil appellate disputes, settling over 1,000 appeals across a wide range of legal matters. Notably, Lisa co-mediated over 350 petitions related to the 2000–2001 energy crisis, achieving settlements exceeding $8 billion. Previous roles include serving as a mediator at Jaye & Associates, Inc. and as a circuit mediator for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. From 1986 to 1998, Lisa was a partner at Hancock, Rothert & Bunshoft LLP. Lisa's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.
