Rex Heeseman

Rex Heeseman is an experienced arbitrator and mediator with JAMS, the largest private provider of mediation and arbitration services worldwide, since September 2014. In addition, Rex has been a co-author for The Rutter Group since February 1988. Previously, Rex served as a judge at the Los Angeles Superior Court from July 2005 to August 2014 and was a partner at Luce Forward from March 1994 to July 2005, specializing in business litigation and insurance matters, which continued at Adams Duque & Hazeltine from March 1975 to March 1994. Early in the career, Rex worked as an Assistant United States Attorney with the Department of Justice from March 1971 to March 1974. Educational credentials include an LLB and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor's Degree from Claremont McKenna College.
