Steven Bauer

Steven Bauer, FCIArb, serves as an Arbitrator, Mediator, and Special Master at JAMS since November 2020. With extensive experience in academia, Steven has held visiting lecturer positions in Patent Litigation at Boston University School of Law and in Intellectual Property Law at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to their current role, Steven co-chaired the Patent and Intellectual Property Law Group and the Litigation Department at Proskauer Rose LLP, where Steven was also a member of the Executive Committee and headed the Boston Office. Steven's legal career includes partnership roles at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP and Allegretti & Witcoff, along with experience as a law clerk for The Honorable Philip Nichols, Jr. at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Steven holds a J.D. cum laude from Boston University School of Law and two degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
