Douglas Lloyd has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Douglas began their career in 1985 at Sartorius North America - Weighing Division, where they served as the Director of Product Management and Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, they were responsible for market positioning, forecasting, pricing, and support of various analytical scales and balances. Douglas also played a key role in developing and implementing a new ISO9002 compliant Quality Assurance System.

Lloyd's most recent role was as the Vice President of Global Sales at Janam Technologies, starting in 2007. Douglas was responsible for the company's global sales, sales operations, and business development. This included leading a worldwide team of territory-based Sales Managers, exceeding corporate sales targets, and managing key account sponsorships and executive briefings. In December 2022, Janam Technologies was acquired by HID Global, a subsidiary of Assa Abloy.
