Tom Roth

Tom Roth has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tom began their career in 2006 as a Resident Assistant at Colorado State University Housing and Dining Services, where they organized educational programs for students. In 2008, they interned at Brainard Consulting and Tilt, Inc. as a Management Consulting Intern and Project Management Intern, respectively.

Tom's career in technology started in 2009 at Beckmann's Bakery, where they worked as a Farmers Marketeer and later became the Sales Manager of the Farmers Market Department. Tom then transitioned to coaching roles at Santa Cruz County Aquatics and CrossFit Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2018.

In 2013, Tom joined CrossFit, LLC as a Systems Administrator and quickly rose to the position of Senior Manager of IT. In this role, they directed all IT Operations and DevOps initiatives, managed infrastructure during CrossFit Games, reduced costs, supported network and security, and led compliance efforts.

In 2022, Tom joined Foghorn Consulting, Inc. as a Cloud Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Lead Engineer. During their tenure, they worked on multiple client engagements in sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, and the public sector. Tom led security audits, reduced costs through efficient solutions, participated in pre-sales, and designed projects utilizing various technologies.

Most recently, Tom joined Jane Technologies, Inc. in 2023 as a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Tom Roth's education history includes the following:

In 2014, they attended the CrossFit Level 2 Certificate Course, focusing on Physical Education Teaching and Coaching.

In 2013, they completed the CrossFit Level 1 Certificate Course and obtained the CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification, also in the field of Physical Education Teaching and Coaching.

In 2008, Tom earned a Certificate in Organization Development from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte through a continuing education program.

From 2005 to 2008, they studied at Colorado State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Studies with a concentration in Asian Studies.

Tom completed high school at Punahou School, graduating with a Diploma in 2005.

Tom also attended the Tilt Leadership Academy, where they became a Tilt Certified Practitioner, specializing in 360 Degree Feedback Assessment Debriefing. The dates of their enrollment in this academy are not provided.

In addition to their educational background, Tom has obtained several certifications:

- In 2015, they obtained the Certified Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- In 2017, Tom earned the PCI Professional certification from the PCI Security Standards Council.
