Valentin Dan

Valentin Dan has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Valentin began their career as a Software Developer at Saguaro Print in 2005 and later joined Masstech Group Inc., where they worked on developing video streaming and planning software for TV networks. In 2009, they transitioned to LASTING Software, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Software Developer, Business Analyst, and Project Manager & Business Analyst. At LASTING Software, they finalized project financial records, created cost estimates for new project bids, and collaborated with project members to address problems.

In 2015, Valentin joined Elan Solutions as a Senior Software Developer and eventually became the Head of Engineering. In this role, they led small teams and launched various products, including APIs, video streaming tools, storage, and reporting solutions. Valentin was responsible for software deployments, task creation, backlog grooming, and introducing new developers to the team.

Valentin also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Visma in 2020 and as a Freelancer since 2015. As a Freelancer, they focused on financial management tools, asset and personnel management, and generating fiscal documents. Their work involved using technologies like C#, DevExpress, SQL Server, Java, Spring, and MySQL.

Most recently, Valentin joined Nagarro in 2021 as a Project Manager and Requirements Engineer. In these roles, they facilitated communication between the development team and the customer, analyzed requirements, and created stories ready for development.

Currently, Valentin is serving as a Senior Technical Project Manager at Janea Systems, starting in 2023. With their strong technical background and extensive experience in software development, they are well-equipped to manage projects and deliver value to the organization.

Valentin Dan completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universitatea "Politehnica" din Timișoara, starting in 2001 and graduating in 2006. Prior to that, they attended Colegiul Național "C. Diaconovici Loga" Timișoara from 1993 to 2001, where they completed their high school education. Valentin also holds several additional certifications, including Redis Certified Developer from Redis, Cloud Digital Leader from Google, Professional Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org (obtained in May 2022), and Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org (obtained in March 2022).
