Lewis Smart

Lewis Smart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in intelligence analysis and management, primarily focused on the Middle East and North Africa. Currently serving as Principal Analyst and Manager for MENA Country Intelligence at Janes since May 2018, Lewis has held various roles at the company, including Senior CBRN Research Analyst. Prior to Janes, Lewis co-managed the UK Monitoring Content team at Dods Group PLC, where responsibilities included oversight of monitoring activities across the UK government and numerous stakeholders. Lewis's earlier experiences include internships in public relations and public affairs at Jefferson Communications and Hanover Communications, as well as a lettings negotiator position at Martin and Co. Plymouth. Lewis also contributed to a political campaign as a Campaign Assistant after volunteering in the Plymouth Sutton and Devonport area. Education was completed at the University of Plymouth with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs.
