Thomas Romer has a diverse work experience in various companies. Thomas started their career in Forster Rohner AG in 2004 as the Head of Shipping and later focused on logistics, holding the role of Leiter Spedition until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they became the Head of Shipping and Finishing Department in the same company. In 2012, they joined Vifor Pharma and served as a Teamleader in the Customer Support Center Rx until 2014. Thomas then took on the role of Head of Product Supply for Oral Forms/Trading Goods & Export until 2015. In the same year, they worked at Filtex Ltd. as the Abteilungsleiter Betrieb for a brief period. From 2015 to 2017, they became the Leiter Logistik und Distribution at Akris, and later transitioned to the position of Head of Sales Administration & Logistics until 2019. Currently, they are working at Jansen AG as the Head of Customer Service International.

Thomas Romer has a diverse education history. In 2022-2023, they attended the University of St.Gallen where they pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Sales Management. Prior to that, in 2014-2015, they studied at BVS St. Gallen and obtained a diploma in Logistics Management (Diplomierter Logistikleiter NDS HF). Moving further back, from 2007 to 2009, Thomas attended the Höhere Fachschule für Aussenwirtschaft and achieved a degree as a certified Export Manager (Eidg. dipl. Exportleiter). In 2006-2007, they also attended the same institution and obtained a qualification as an Export Specialist with a federal certificate (Exportfachmann mit eidg. Fachausweis).
