Nik Burns

Nik Burns has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Nik is currently the Head of Energy Research at Jarden, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Investor Relations Manager at Beach Energy Ltd from June 2018 to January 2021. From October 2012 to June 2018, Nik was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank. Nik also worked as a Vice President in Equities Research at Credit Suisse from January 2011 to October 2012. Before that, Nik was a Senior Analyst in Oil, Gas, and Energy at RBS Morgans Limited from May 2009 to January 2011. Nik has experience at Core Energy Group as Manager of M&A Services from August 2004 to May 2009, where they were involved in several CSG M&A transactions and provided business development advice. Prior to that, Nik worked as an independent consultant and director at Katalyst Pty Ltd, serving clients such as Woodside, Santos, and RISC from January 2000 to July 2004. Nik began their career at Santos Ltd, where they held roles as an Engineering Analyst in Corporate Development and later as a Reservoir Engineer from January 1993 to July 1998.

Nik Burns attended the University of Adelaide from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
