Ali Fuad

Associate Principal, Registered Architect, Technical Manager at Jasmax

Ali Fuad is an Associate Principal, Technical Manager, and Architectural Specification Manager with broad, international experience in designing high- and low-rise commercial, mixed use, high-rise residential, and recreational projects. He also works within Jasmax’s Knowledge & Innovation (K&I) team, which provides specialist expertise across the areas of contractual and technical delivery, sustainability, legal, technology and digital innovation, and BIM process, enabling Jasmax to consistently deliver high quality projects for clients.

With two decades of architectural experience, Ali has extensive technical knowledge, site experience, an understanding of complex envelope designs, excellent interpersonal and organisation skills, and the ability to seamlessly manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring designs are functional, feasible, cost-effective, and of a high-quality.

Since joining Jasmax in 2010, Ali has worked on The Terrace in Christchurch CBD – a world-class, self-sustaining precinct that sets a new benchmark for sustainable mixed use developments; Three35 – a mixed use development in the heart of Addington and one of the first commercial projects to complete in Christchurch following the 2011 earthquake; and the Lot 3 shopping and entertainment destination on Auckland’s Ponsonby Road.

Prior to joining the practice, Ali was Project Architect for the first New Zealand-based building to be awarded a 5 Green Star rating by the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC). He draws on varied experience across the commercial, hotel, residential and student accommodation sectors.
