Chris Rogers

Sydney Studio Lead, Registered Architect at Jasmax

With over 20 years’ experience, Chris Rogers has been appointed to lead Jasmax’s first Australian-based studio, opened in 2022.

After studying architecture in Australia, Chris began his professional career in Edinburgh, Scotland, with the renowned Richard Murphy Architects, before returning to Australia to join TERROIR’s Sydney studio as a project lead and later Principal. During this time, Chris cemented his client liaison and business development skills whilst continuing to hone his abilities in the craft of architecture. Adept in leading projects from inception to completion, Chris has developed a reputation for always going the extra mile and delivering projects of exceptional quality.

While at TERROIR, Chris was the project lead on Castle Cove House, which won the Completed Buildings: House award at the World Architecture Festival in 2019. In addition to designing award-winning private homes, Chris has worked on a wide range of schools, civic and community centres across New South Wales. Along with several school masterplans and multi-million-dollar houses, he is currently working on several private houses and offering strategic advice to local councils on key social infrastructure projects.

Chris is excited to meet the challenge of growing Jasmax’s Sydney studio. He describes himself as highly collaborative, and this is reflected in his enthusiasm for this new role. The breadth of his project portfolio underscores Chris’s dedication to earning the trust of clients, contractors, and consultants alike, and to developing innovative design solutions that explore the full potential of each project.
